Our client operates throughout state-of-the-art aircraft hangars, interior modification facilities and over 40 line maintenance stations worldwide. Their facilities and expert personnel drive their commitment to providing comprehensive aircraft maintenance, engineering, and modification solutions to the global aviation industry.

Role Information – Sheet Metal Worker:

Location: Manchester

Salary: £48,000+

Shift Pattern & Working Hours: Early: 7.00am – 3.00pm or Late: 3.00pm – 11.30pm

Company Benefits include:

• 4% Pension Contribution,
• Life Assurance paid at 4x Salary
• Sick pay – 3 weeks full and 3 weeks half (starts as soon as you join), increases to 6 weeks full 6 weeks half after a years service
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• Loyalty Bonus

Summary of duties – Sheet Metal Worker:

As an experienced Sheet Metal Worker you will be responsible for:

• Removal of major aircraft structural sections.
• Working to fine tolerances and high standards.
• Upholding high standards of housekeeping.
• Adhering to company and manufacturers procedures.
• Implementing modifications from drawings and procedures.

In order to be successful in the role of Sheet Metal Worker you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

• Completed engineering apprenticeship
• Demonstrable experience in modification/production environment.
• Experience of implementing and carrying out component modifications.
• Experienced and capable of reading manufacturers drawings and SRMs.
• Hold a valid UK Drivers Licence

Requirements for the role: Training Certificates, Updated CV (preferably in Word format).  You must have the Right to Work in the UK.
