Facilities and Maintenance Technician – J1548

About the Client:
Our client operates a busy aviation maintenance and operations facility in Prestwick. They are committed to safety, efficiency, and high standards, providing a professional and supportive environment for their team.

Role Overview:
Argo Aviation are recruiting a Facilities and Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth running of the facility, maintaining vehicles, equipment (on an administrative level) and the working environment, while assisting with ad-hoc tasks and general facilities duties.

Key Responsibilities:
– Vehicle and equipment maintenance (including forklifts, MEWPs, and other operational vehicles) – Hangar and facilities upkeep (cleaning, waste management, safety, PAT testing, painting, minor repairs) – Administrative tasks (inspection sheets, stock levels, coordinating servicing and repairs) – Compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations – Ad-hoc operational support as required

Requirements:
– Full UK driving license – Experience in industrial maintenance or similar functions – Ability to work independently, use tools and machinery safely

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
• Ability to uphold safety, compliance, and company standards at all times.
