Role information – B2 Licensed Engineer

Location: Luton

Type Rating: A320 / A321

Shift Pattern & Working Hours: 5/5/4 shift pattern

Salary: £76,000 (inc shift pay) – £82,000 – dependent on License and Types held (Dual license paid extra Premium)

Summary of Duties – B2 Licensed Engineer

The primary purpose of this role is to carry out certification of work carried out in accordance with the scope and privileges of the authorisation held.

• Ensure all tooling, equipment and premises within allocated responsibility are serviceable and any discrepancies are duly reported
• Ensure all company and legal requirements regarding aircraft/component inspection and production documentation are duly complied with
• Maintain licence/qualification and training validity necessary to support inspection authorisation utilised during completion of productive work tasks
• Maintain a working knowledge of maintenance procedures, ensuring strict adherence while carrying out line work tasks
• Maintain acceptable airworthiness, safety and performance standards in their delegated areas of responsibility
• Maintain a high standard of written daily maintenance handovers
• Ensure the accomplishment of maintenance and inspection tasks within responsible area using resources in the most efficient and cost-effective manner

In order to be successful in the role of the B2 Licensed Engineer you will need to demonstrate the following:

• A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
• Valid UK CAA Part-66 Category B2 Aircraft Maintenance License with cat A on station A/C types
• A320 / A321 type rating (preferred but not essential)
• Proven Experience: Base or Line maintenance expertise on commercial aircraft
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
