Salary: £75,190 basic, £3,000 shift, up to £6,000 approval pay
Shift Pattern: The role is full-time, permanent, working a 5,5,4 shift rotation — 07:00 to 19:00 shifts

The Opportunity:
Argo Aviation International is currently supporting our client, a respected provider of aircraft maintenance services, in the recruitment of a B2 Licensed Engineer to join their Base Maintenance team in Prestwick, Scotland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated B2 Engineer with hands-on certification expertise and leadership capability to join a progressive and safety-focused operation.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out certification of avionics maintenance activities within scope of authorisation and regulatory approvals
- Supervise and support maintenance staff allocated to the aircraft or zone of responsibility
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and procedural standards during maintenance inputs
- Identify and escalate any issues that may affect aircraft turnaround or delivery
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to effective shift handovers
- Liaise with Planning and Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of parts and materials
- Update production boards and records to reflect aircraft status and progress
- Uphold Health & Safety standards and contribute to a clean, audit-ready work environment
- Raise safety and occurrence reports in line with reporting procedures
- Perform any additional duties as reasonably requested by management
Requirements:
Essential:
- UK CAA or EASA Part-66 B2 Licence, with relevant and current aircraft type ratings
- Valid recency on at least one of the following types: A320 / A330 / B737 / B787
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on certification experience in a base maintenance environment
- Recognised aircraft maintenance apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Previous team supervision experience within a maintenance environment
- Knowledge of MOE, MEL, SRM and associated regulatory documentation
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and aircraft maintenance systems
Additional Information:
- The position is based at Prestwick Airport, with flexibility dependent on operational needs
