Role information – B1 Licensed Engineer

Summary of Duties – B1 Licensed Engineer

The B1 Licensed Engineer will manage, develop, and lead line maintenance activities on A320 aircraft (all engines). You will ensure all maintenance, inspections, and documentation meet company, regulatory, and customer requirements, while maintaining a high standard of safety, airworthiness, and performance. This role offers UK visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example, motivating and developing the team to maintain high standards.
• Ensure tooling, equipment, and premises are serviceable, reporting any discrepancies.
• Maintain licence/qualification and training validity to support inspection authorisation.
• Adhere to maintenance procedures and ensure line work tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate daily maintenance handovers and records.
• Ensure compliance with company, EASA, CAA and customer regulations.
• Support Customer Airlines’ on-time performance and maintain effective communication with all staff and interfacing departments.
• Carry out vehicle and ground equipment checks compliant with CAP 642 requirements.
• Attend meetings and provide updates on aircraft serviceability and maintenance condition.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects to support operational efficiency.

Education & Qualifications:

• Recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
• UK Part 66 B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer on A320 aircraft.

Skills & Experience:

• Recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
• Base / line maintenance expertise on commercial aircraft

Working Conditions:

• Hangar-based environment with exposure to aircraft and associated equipment.

Additional Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship is available, if required).
• Commitment to ongoing training and authorisation maintenance.
